Hi!
I'm a retired army officer, married to the most wonderful woman in the world for over 37 years. (Quite a feat in this day and age!) We have two grown sons, one of whom is the co-founder of Giveness.com, and two lovely granddaughters.
We have lived in Colorado for the past 18 years and, as I've intimated to family and friends, the only way someone can get me to relocate from our hometown is feet first.
Since retiring from the army, I tried (and failed) at importing/selling silk flowers from Thailand. It's difficult competing with the big importers. Following that fiasco, I tried my hand at writing and managed to publish two books so far: Jim Corbett, Master of the Jungle, by Safari Press; and Woman of the Raj: The Life of Mary Jane Corbett, by Llumina Press. If so inclined, you can access my website at www.TWerling.com to find out more about the books.
I guess I would be considered conservative (common for my age), and I enjoy spending good times with family and friends. I like, no, make that love to fish and I enjoy the peaceful serenity of cruising around the lake in a boat on a pleasant day. If I happen to catch any fish, it would be a plus to a perfect day. Hopefully, I'll be the guy who on his deathbed doesn't have to say, "Gee, I wish I spent more time fishing."
I prefer to listen to the "oldies" (rock & roll from the 60s and 70s), but my wife is trying to convert me to country music (UGGH!). I suppose, since we live in Colorado, I should be more receptive, but I don't think it's going to happen.
