It is a public holiday and important day in Hong Kong.

This is the day of 10 year memory of return Hong Kong to China

from British.

Travel Place :

Hong Kong  – Tung Chung, Ngong Ping Village, Po Lin Monastery,

                        Tian Tan Buddha Statue

Weather : about 20 degree C , rainy day.

This is public holiday in Hong Kong and colleague of China factory

request me to go for sight seeing together in Lantau Island,

it is my pleasure to guide them and we both enjoy this trip.

There are so many first time that happen in that day :

1.      Normally they come to Hong Kong by car not by boat.

2.      This is the first time we go for sight seeing and take photo together.

3.      This is also my first time to visit Ngong Ping Village and

Tian Tan Buddha Statue even they build up many years before.

4.      We have 6 persons but only with 2 umbrella, the weather is not stable,

every 10-15 minutes with 5-10 minutes rainy, all peoples can guess the

rainy time and we just run and gather together with 2 umbrella.

The weather is very funny, we both together think how to plan the

journey to fit the rainy time, it is really funny day for us.

5.      We have lunch at Ngong Ping Village, but the price of one dish

      of vegetable (only vegetable) is very expensive,

      more expensive than eat in 5 Star hotel.

Ngong Ping Village :

There are many traditional Chinese Souvenirs you can purchase.

There are one Chinese/western restaurant, Japanese Noodle Café and

Taiwanese Bistro, place is nice.

Po Lin Monastery/Tian Tan Buddha Statue

Tian Tan Buddha is very big and beautiful,

you need to walk many ladder to reach the Buddha.

Environment is nice and air is fresh.

Routing :

Reach Tung Chung MTR station, take No 23 public bus to

Ngong Ping Village/Tian Tan Buddha Statue (about 45 Minutes)

Only can reach there by Public bus or Taxi, can’t reach by private car

except you have permit.

Aswan

– Optional Abu Simbel, High Dam, Nile Cruise,

–    Temple Of Kom Ombo, Soberk Temple, Horus Temple,

–    Temple of Edfu, Esna

–    Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen, Hatshepsutel,

–     Die El – Bahari & the Colossi Of Memnon, Karnak Temple,

–     Luxor Temple.

Luxor 

-   Hurghada (Red Sea)

Weather : From 9 degree C to 30 degree C.

                  There are big different within a day , in the morning and

                  evening time about 9 – 15 degree C, but in afternoon,

                  reach 30 degree C, very hot.

Currency : EGT Pound, 1 USD : 5.7 EGT Pound.

(1)   Cairo

There are famous place like Step Pyramid and Giza Pyramid,

It is very difficult to understand how Egyptian people can build up

such Pyramid over 4,000 year before, when you reach there,

you feel it is great and you are only small particles.

Egyptian Museum – It is good place and you must visit there,

can see so many value things : gold face mask and coffin of 

famous king 圖坦卡蒙 and mummy (木乃伊),

many thing keep more than 2000 years.

From this Museum, you can learn and know more about Egypt history.

(2)   Alexandra – It is a port and beautiful place, surrounding and

                           bldg like Europe.

(3)   Aswan – There are many temples, people there worship many God,

such as Sun and Eagle …. Etc. 

Different temples have their own characteristic.

Valley of King : All kings is bury there and there are 62 tombs,

their tombs is very big and there are many beautiful painting inside.

Temple of Queen – tombs for the Queen.

(4)   Hurghada (Red Sea) – good and beautiful place for relax,

                                            hotel is nice, sea is clear and full of Jelly fish,    

                                            extremely beautiful and you can touch it.

Egypt is nice and value place to visit, you must visit there

once in your life, their living standard is lower and poor,

many place is full of sand.

One of their religion can allow one man marriage more than 2 wives.

besides, they mind are in old traditions and thinking

not like western people, they don’t have any sex relationship

before marriage.

The reason why there are so many temples and find methods

to keep dead body even animals in well shape and good condition

– mummy because ancient people believed their life were short and

only have eternal life after dead, therefore, they only concentrate

and pay attention on build up the tombs and make mummy

for eternal happiness after dead.
