Educate one Child, Empower a Community...and Transform our World.

Our Mission

The Caribbean Education Foundation, Inc. (CEF) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping poor children receive a quality education in the Caribbean.

CEF awards scholarships to children who are unable to attend school, because parents cannot pay school fees and other school related costs. Our Scholarships pay school fees, purchase text books, school supplies, uniforms, meals and transportation.

CURRENT MISSION COUNTRY: JAMAICA
There is so such thing as “free public education” in Jamaica. Thousands of children in Jamaica are on the streets engaging in microeconomic enterprises and other activities instead of attending school.

On the surface, it may appear that these 11-year-old children do not wish to attend school, but that is farthest from the truth. Many of the children are brilliant and passed their exams for high schools, but are unable to attend because destitute families cannot afford to purchase books, find bus fares and other school related costs required to send them to receive a quality education.

CEF’s goal is to do something, to ensure things will change to break the poverty cycle and give our youth meaningful choice and opportunity in this world.
